About Me

Until December 2010, my wife Jessica and I resided in Okpo, Korea.  We were there for nearly five years building five new build drill ships (2006-2010).  In January 2011, we purchased a sailboat in Langkawi, Malaysia, the s/v Malaika.  We sailed her to Singapore, and took a job as Project Manager for Atwood Oceanics construction of the Atwood Condor.  The Condor was delivered in June 2012 and the Condor departed for the Gulf of Mexico a few days after.  After delivery of the Atwood Condor we sailed North to Langkawi, Malaysia.  This served as our base while working in multiple offshore areas. This was followed by a return to Korea from 2015-2017. We have now returned to Texas. Where next???  We don't know either!

International travel has always been a part of working on offshore drilling engineering and construction projects.  Through these projects, I have traveled extensively, and I'm sure there are more destinations in the future.
